“ Came here for the first time with some coworkers. Upon entering we were greeted and sat down quickly. Our server explained the menu to us, as it is not a typical sushi place but rather has a Latin fusion to it. After some time of looking through I chose the Eel Nigiri, Eel Handroll, Suntory, and Georgina Roll. I got the Eel Nigiri and Handroll as an appetizer and it came fairly quick. The nigiri was a bit bigger than other places I've been to and it was very flavorful, unfortunately the same couldn't be said for the Handroll. The eel wasn't as flavorful in the handroll, and I expected there to be cream cheese throughout the roll but it was only used to seal the handroll. The Suntory Roll is a basic roll, but despite that it was very flavorful, however the avocado was a bit overripe. The Georgina Roll is a good choice for those that are looking for low carb high protein options, however if you're not a fan of raw fish you'd might not enjoy it. I enjoyed the different textures of this roll, the crispiness of the shrimp tempura and the freshness of the salmon, however the avocado on this roll was underripe. Some of the dishes were big enough to share with the table. However it's important to note that they serve their dishes on big plates and the tables are a bit small. Overall, the food was delicious and I would come again. ”

“ I order takeout from here all the time, and it has never missed. All of their sushi options are amazing and truly unlike many other spots. They have sushi with plantains and raclette cheese on them! Their sushi pizza is also wonderful. It has just the right amount of sauce. Their desserts are also no joke. I personally really like the fried cheesecake. I really recommend coming here or ordering delivery if you're ever craving some delicious sushi, especially if you are a specialty roll fan. ”

Also the waiter Esteban was so kind and really anticipated our needs. He even brought water after our meal which was really nice. The food was also amazing. We will definitely be returning. ”

“ LOVED this place!!!! It's been a while since I tried a good sushi restaurant. Although fusion ( I like the more traditional places), this place beat my expectations. I even felt comfortable with trying the raw sushi (bc I'm pregnant). We had a soup that was also absolutely delicious. Service was amazing and the restaurant was very nice. Decorated very modern. I really liked this place and would def come back. Even my son who is 2 loved it!! ”

“ A little pricey but the food is great and delicious. We have fur babies and love that they have a doggie menu. Our fur babies get to enjoy a meal with us. We've been here several times and we've had good customer service each time. Sushi Kong has both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a really cute small swing hanging from the ceiling that you can use as a photo op. Parking in the garage is limited but there is plenty of street parking within short walking distance. ”

“ Discover this phenomenal sushi restaurant located in Coral Way in Coral Gables, the decoration is so vibrant displaying a unique decor in every corner. The wall art and the figurines in the wall are fantastic too. The chairs are all different and the ambiance is very welcoming as well as the lighting, the venue has a lot of space and also offers outdoors seating. I loved the menu because it features photos, description and an interactive menu presented in a tablet with many choices including Latin/fusion dishes, signature rolls, sushi for big groups hot/cold teas, desserts and much more... I ordered the Marlenita and Santori signature rolls and they didn't disappoint. The pieces had a generous amounts of salmon, avocado and it was were perfectly prepared and crafted. I really loved each piece and the presentation was on point. I appreciate Esteban exceptional customer service. He was hospitable, attentive, and very professional. I will definitely return to try the signature bowls and eat more edamame!! Ps. The ice cream was soft, the Nutella made every bite delightful ”

“ Pet Friendly Gem ! I've had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Kong multiple times, and each visit has been consistently delightful. Despite its distance from my house, the fresh sushi keeps drawing me back. The diverse menu offers a fantastic range, from tartare to perfectly executed tempura sushi , to fried rice. The outside dining area provides a pleasant atmosphere, and the fact that they have a dog menu for our furry friends is a delightful touch. The appetizers are all great , and ending the meal with the Cheesecake dessert is an absolute treat. The attentive and friendly service enhances the overall experience, with staff consistently checking in to ensure everything is to our satisfaction. They were very kind to offer us complimentary coffee, which was a nice surprise. I look forward to many more enjoyable visits. It truly deserves a solid 5-star rating. ”
